But if an agency doesn’t have the people that can produce the science (the research) about a client’s target market, competition, industry and so forth, then their creative team is guessing at what creative may work.
At Pure Energy Advertising, we don’t like to guess, especially when spending our clients’ money. Because we know “Science + Art = Results.” You can’t just rely on one or the other. You must be good at both to get the best results.

Before we create an ad or dream up a campaign, we have to start the process with science. We need to research the client, their products and/or services, their competition, their target market and market trends. This is just the beginning of the deep dive that we take when developing a marketing strategy that will guide the creative. We don’t want to guess at what messaging and media will work best for a particular client. We want to know as much as possible because “Science + Art = Results” and we haven’t met any clients’ who wanted us to guess at how to spend their marketing budget.

Have we mentioned the importance of science yet? We don’t design things just so they look cool. Our designs are guided by the marketing strategy we’ve researched and developed. So much so that when a college was looking for someone to help them develop their social media curriculum for a course they were going to be offering to the business community, they reached out to us. Why? They kept running into us on the social web. Not only did we create the curriculum, but we taught the course at all their campuses. It was so successful that they asked us to create another follow-up course. We have also provided private social media training for many businesses, big and small. Between our college courses and private client training, we’ve taught over a thousand people on how to use social media marketing successfully.
